almost

July 24, 2009

since i can remember i’ve loved fall.

watching the leaves change.

hearing the rustling of them under my feet.

i’m looking forward to taking long walks in the park and finding that little spot where i can read.

as a child fall meant back to school.

and that still stands to some degree.

i like to think that i am always learning, but during the fall i seem to find myself more inclined to be preoccupied with a great read.

i started a bit early and began with sula by toni morrison.

a beautiful tale of two women who choose different paths, but then again, not really.

i’m hoping that one of my favorite authors, lisa see, comes out with a banger this season.

i’m so geeked to read another great book.
